TCL Tab 10 Gen 2 Budget Tablet Ready For Launch; We Have Specs!

The TCL Tab 10 Gen 2 is a budget Android tablet that has just leaked online. It’s your average 10.36 inch machine with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution and sporting an octa core ARM CPU.

The device has an IPS LCD display with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution, as well as an octa core ARM CPU with 8 Cortex-A53 cores. There’s also 4 GB of RAM inside plus support for up to 128 GB of storage. TCL has yet to disclose a price, but we expect it to be pretty decent. This budget machine should include nice features like a microSD card slot and optional support for 4G LTE, as well as an active pen.

The tablet seems to be a small updated from the 2022 TCL Tab 10 FHD 4G model, with bumps up in screen and CPU, display, memory and a newer version of Android. The Tab 10 Gen 2 comes with Android 13 and TCL promises it will receive an over the air Android 14 update. Security updates are only promised through July 2025.

Inside the slate we find a MediaTek MT8768 processor, by the way. The entry level config will have 4 GB of RAM And 64 GB of storage, but there will also be a version with 128 GB. MicroSD card support is also on the table, for up to 1 TB. There’s WiFi 5 available, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G. It has an aluminum body, with a 7.35 mm thickness and a weight of 425 grams, plus a 6000 mAh battery and an USB-C 2.0 port, with support for 5V and 2 charging.

There’s also reverse charging support, meaning you can plug other devices into the tablet and use it as a power bank. Finally, it has a main 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and a 5 MP fixed focus front camera. Both are able to record 1080p video at up to 30 FPS. TCL has put stereo speakers on this machine and a single microphone. There’s also an active stylus as an optional accessory.
