Lenovo Debuts Most Compact Professional Notebook Yet, the ThinkPad P1 with Up to 64 GB of RAM
Lenovo ThinkPad P1 is the latest beast in Lenovo’s lineup of productivity oriented devices. This is a professional notebook, that can come with up to 64 GB of RAM. Power users relied on the X1 Carbon till now, but they seem to have a fresh alternative.
The ThinkPad P series is meant to offer improved functionality in a very slim package. The ThinkPad P1 debuted with the ThinkPad P72, as the go to laptops for business tasks. The P1 offers a 35% size decrease compared to the predecessors and measures just 18.4 mm in thickness. It also weighs 3.76 pounds and it’s promoted as the thinnest and lightest workstation laptop ever.
It packs a 4K 15.6 inch screen and the NVIDIA Quadro P series graphics cards (P2000 tops) for high end editing and VR work. Inside we find an 8th gen Intel Core processor, clocked up to 4.6 GHz, as well as up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM and 4 TB of storage.
