Huawei MatePad Pro 11 Tablet Unveiled: 11 inch AMOLED Screen, Snapdragon 888 CPU Inside

Huawei unveiled today the MatePad Pro 11 tablet, the follow-up to the 10.8 inch MatePad Pro from a year ago. The device comes with a very slim metal body, that measures just 5.9 mm in thickness. It also has a weight of 449 grams, which is less than the iPad Pro with a similar diagonal.

The device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, probably a 4G one. There are also voices saying that we should expect a Snapdragon 870 processor. Huawei MatePad Pro 11 packs an AMOLED 11 inch screen with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It has a 16:10 aspect and a brightness of 600 nits. We also have a PWM frequency of 1440 Hz, which is excellent for sensitive users. The tablet is compatible with a second gen Huawei M-Pencil and comes with a front 16 megapixel camera in a punch hole upfront.

The back camera module packs a 13 megapixel main sensor with F/1.8 aperture, next to an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera. There’s also 4K video capture. 6 loudspeaker have been included here, with a bass amplification feature. The product runs on HarmonyOS 3.0, which was just announced and also gets a keyboard cover as an option. We also get 4 microphones with echo cancelation. Finally, we have 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The battery drops from the predecessor’s 10.050 mAh to 8300 mAh.

Huawei MatePad Pro 11 starts at 510 euros in China, for the 128 GB version and 583 euros for the 256 GB version. There will also be a pricier 4G version.
