Oppo Find N foldable phone revealed officially and in leaked images

(Pocket-lint) – Oppo will officially unveil its first flagship foldable smartphone on day 2 of its Oppo Inno Day event next week. However, not only has the company itself teased a couple of details and images, a collection of press renders have appeared online.

The company itself teased the Oppo Find N on Twitter on Thursday, while its chief product officer Pete Lau (formerly of OnePlus) also published an open letter detailing some of its features.

Lau revealed that the Oppo Find N has been in development for four years, with the first prototype built in April 2018.

He claimed that the manufacturer has “solved the main pain points in previous foldable smartphones, such as the crease in the display and overall durability of the device”.

But while you can see for yourself on 15 December during the handset’s Oppo Inno Day reveal, you can also get an even better glimpse at its design ahead of time, thanks to Evan Blass.

Posting under his @evleaks Twitter handle, Blass revealed several images of the forthcoming phone, which look to be official press renders.

There’s not much doubt to their validity, considering the handset looks identical to the one that appeared in the Oppo post above.

We don’t have too long to wait to find out for sure.
