realme Pad Mini Gets Listed on FCC, Sports 6400 mAh battery, 18W Fast Charging

Realme entered the laptop and tablet segment last year and now they want more. The OPPO spinoff is preparing a realme Pad Mini slate, that just got listed on the FCC website. We also learn some specs for the lighter version of the realme Pad.

The tablet is expected to drop later this month and it could sport one of those popular Unisoc processors we’ve seen on Samsung tablets, Nokia and Motorola slates. realme Pad Mini has been certified by the FCC and TUV Rheinland, popping up under the codename RMP2105. It should come with a 6400 mAh battery and 18W charging. The TUV listing also confirms the 18W fast charging. By the way the OG realme Pad has a 7100 mAh battery and 18W fast charge too.

The certification also mentions support for LTE connectivity and dual band Wi-Fi connection. The image on the FCC shows curved edges for the camera and a rear camera cut out. Other sources have mentioned an 8.7 inch screen, which is most likely a TFT or an IPS LCD. The tablet is said to be powered by the same Unisoc T616 processor as the Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 and it should have 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

An 8 megapixel main camera is expected, plus a 5 MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. The device should boot Android 11 out of the box and it should have a 7.6 mm thickness. The ricing for the realme Pad is at $250 right now so the Mini may go below $200.
