How to watch the Galaxy MWC event

Samsung Galaxy events are available to watch live on YouTube and You’ll be able to watch live as the event happens and we will embed the video above for you to watch when it becomes available.

What to expect from the Galaxy MWC virtual event

With Mobile World Congress delayed, Samsung has been pushing forward with its launch events as normal – so this won’t be the typical line-up of devices that Samsung showcases at the show, because those are already launched.

Samsung has said, however, that it’s going to be a showcase of the Galaxy ecosystem. We’d expect Samsung to cover how Samsung phones, tablets and watches all work together, as well as touching on a range of Samsung services that give you an ecosystem advantage beyond Android and the Google underpinnings.

The new Google x Samsung Wear OS

Speaking of Google, at the event that launched the Android 12 beta, Google also confirmed that it was working with Samsung on Wear OS. This is going to encompass future Wear OS devices, Samsung devices and Fitbit in the future. We’re expecting the software to get a bigger showcase – as we’re expecting Samsung to launch the first device that’s powered by the new Wear OS.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

However, the reason to watch is because Samsung has also said it’s going to be “unveiling its vision for the future of smartwatches”. Again, this is a significant hint that the new Wear OS is going to be showcased, but we’re also expecting a new watch to wear it on – and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is expected to be it. There is also thought to be a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 as well.

We’ve had some trickles of information, as well as renders potentially showing off the design, but we’re not 100 per cent certain that the watch itself will actually be revealed. Nothing is confirmed, so you’ll have to watch the show to find out what Samsung has up its sleeve.
