Huawei has quietly confirmed the global launch of the MatePad 11.5S (2026), alongside devices such as the Mate X7 foldable and the FreeClip 2 earbuds. The tablet stands out through its combination of a high-refresh-rate display and Huawei’s PaperMatte technology, with European pricing now surfacing ahead of wider availability.

The Huawei MatePad 11.5S (2026) is positioned as an upper-midrange tablet and will be offered in configurations with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, bundled with a detachable keyboard. According to current listings, the standard version is expected to retail for around EUR 479, while the PaperMatte edition is priced higher at approximately EUR 529. Color options include Green and Space Gray.

In terms of build, the MatePad 11.5S measures just over 6 mm in thickness and weighs roughly 515 grams. It features a metal chassis and houses an 8,800 mAh battery. Storage options include 256 GB and 512 GB, while the operating system is HarmonyOS 4.3.

On the software side, Huawei highlights AI-powered features integrated into Huawei Notes, including handwritten text correction and equation recognition. The tablet also supports GoPaint for drawing and creative tasks and is compatible with the M-Pencil Pro stylus.

Camera hardware consists of a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera. Additional features include quad speakers and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Huawei has not yet disclosed details about the processor powering the MatePad 11.5S (2026).
