OPPO Pad 3 Tablet Launch Delayed, Tested With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300

OPPO seems to be working on a successor for the OPPO Pad 2 tablet, a next gen model that will be called OPPO Pad 3. Ahead of any announcement, all we’re left with are speculations and leaks. We have them below, including some bad news.

Leakster Digital Chat Station claim on Weibo that the OPPO Pad 3 may be delayed. The successor may have been pushed back to the second quarter of 2023. He also added that the slate is being tested with flagship processors from both MediaTek and Qualcomm, or better said the Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The OPPO Pad 2 debuted in 2023 with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, so continuity may be an option. That CPU was paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB ff storage. The device packs a tall 11.61 inch IPS LCD display, with a 144 Hz refresh rate and also a 2K+ resolution.

There’s also an 8 megapixel shooter on board, upfront for selfies and videocalls, while the back hosts a 13 MP shooter. Inside we find a massive 9510 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. I wouldn’t be surprised by a tablet with stylus support here, as well as a dual back camera and Android 14.
