Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro Tablets Incoming; Launch Date Leaked

Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new series of tablets, known as the Pad 7, most likely meant to rival the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 models. The new series is said to include two versions: Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro

The Pro model has already appeared in the China 3C certification database, as well as the Singapore IMDA database. Also, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some info about the machines. According to a DCS post, the Xiaomi Pad 7 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, even though I expected at least a Gen 3, seeing how Gen 4 is coming out in a few weeks.

The Pad 7 will also use an 11 inch 144 Hz LCD display with a 3K resolution and a large 10.000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Meanwhile, the Pad 7 Pro is more potent, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with 144 Hz refresh and an OLED panel. Both slates will debut with HyperOS 2.0 and there are talks about a Q3 2024 debut.

However, lately we’ve heard plenty about an October debut with the Xiaomi 15 phone series. In Europe they may come at MWC 2025, in February.
