Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Pad SE Tablet, Priced at Just 199 Euros

Xiaomi held a rather ample event on August 14th, during which it unveiled a bunch of new products, starting from the MIX Fold 3 foldable phone and going to the Pad 6 Max tablet. There was also a budget tablet, the Redmi Pad SE, which comes a decent setup for 199 euros.

Redmi Pad SE is a budget colorful device meant for multimedia usage and providing quad stereo speakers and a large battery. As far as the screen is concerned, we get an 11 inch IPS LCD, with a Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. There’s also a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor inside and the configs go up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of flash storage.

There’s also microSD card slot support for up to 1 TB. Redmi Pad SE employs a 5 megapixel front camera with Face Unlock, as well as a main 8 megapixel camera at the back. There’s an 8000 mAh battery in the mix, with a pretty slow charge, at 10W. At least there’s an USB-C port here. Finally, a 3.5 mm audio jack somehow made it among the specs.

There’s Dolby Atmos for audio and TUV Rheinland certification for the screen’s reduce blue light emissions. As far as size goes, Redmi Pad SE measures just 7.4 mm in thickness and weighs 478 grams. It’s priced at 199 euros in the basic config.
