ZTE Nubia Pad 3D II Tablet Announced, Has Glasses-Free 3D Screen

At MWC 2024 ZTE was there to bring us a rarity: a tablet with a 3D screen, but without requiring glasses. It’s dubbed ZTE Nubia Pad 3D II and it’s the second generation 3D tablet from the company. This one brings 5G connectivity and AI features.

It’s got a 12.1 inch 2.5K display, with liquid crystal lenses and image processing algorithms, that render 3D images in a realistic fashion. Compared to the first gen model, this one bring an 80% increase in 3D resolution and a 100% boost in 3D brightness. There’s 3D crosstalk optimization, an upgrade in 3D color and 3D power efficiency.

There’s a brand new AI processing engine and the tablet comes with an AI eye tracking support, that uses high speed visual sensors and eye detection algorithms, delivering 3D images straight t the eye. You can also transform 2D content into 3D one. The specs of the tablet include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, UFS 4.0 storage of up to 512 GB and LPDDR5X RAM, probably 8 or 12 GB.

There are also dual 13 MP back cameras and dual 8 MP front cameras, able to create 3D content. Also, we get quad stereo speakers, 5G and a 10.000 mAh battery with 66W fast charge. The price is not yet known.
