ZTE Nubia Pad 3D Tablet to Launch on February 28th at MWC 2023

ZTE will be present at MWC 2023, bringing forth not only 5G technology, but also a rather unusual device. We’re talking about a 3D screen tablet of all things one could see popping up. It’s dubbed Nubia Pad 3D and we have some details below.

I remember that back in 2011 or 2012 LG was toying with a 3D screen tablet, actually they launched one and also had one or two 3D screen phones. The Nubia Pad 3D seems to bring back this trend, offering 3D effects without requiring special glasses. The debut event is scheduled for February 28th, at 3:00 pm and ZTE will show the goods at its booth in the Hall 3 of Fira Gran Via in Barcelona.

According to the Weibo post we have, it will be a tablet that uses the world’s first AI technology for imagines in 3D. The engine on board will track your eyes and simulate a 3D effect without requiring a need for glasses or a parallax barrier display. The tablet will use an USB-C port, two front facing cameras (in a slim bezel), plus a big sensor between the cameras, possibly required for 3D effects.

We also know that the device has two speakers and an USB-C port on the side, plus there will probably be a strong Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or 2 CPU inside, or a MediaTek 8000 or 9000 series chipset. Definitely something powerful.
