Huawei MatePad SE 11 Launched, With Stylus in Tow

Huawei debuted the original MatePad SE in 2022, as a pretty affordable slate and now it’s offering us an upgraded version, the MatePad SE 11, that comes with a stylus. The diagonal has increased to 11 inches and specs have been upgraded.

The display remains an LCD, with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and an aspect of 16:10. The screen to body ratio has been upgraded to 85%, so the bezels are much slimmer. The panel promises a peak brightness of 400 nits, which is quite OK for indoor usage. It also delivers a 1400:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and a 100% coverage of the sRGB color space.

There’s even a special eBook mode for reading. The slate measures 252.3 x 163.8 x 6.9 mm and weighs a mere 475 grams. The body is made of metal and the tablet comes in two colors, Crystal Blue and Nebula Gray. Inside we find a Kirin 710A or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, depending on the region and the OS of choice is HarmonyOS 2.0.

It comes with features like multi-windows, multi screen collaboration, seamless data transfer and also screen sharing. The CPU is paired with 64 or 128 GB of storage and RAM versions include 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB. There’s a 7700 mAh battery here, with 22.5W charging. We also have a quad speaker setup with Huawei Histen 9.0, dual band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1 and there’s an USB-C port with OTG support.

Buyers also get an 8 megapixel back camera and a 5 MP front shooter. The device provides stylus support, Huawei M-Pen Lite to be more precise, for writing, drawing and taking notes. Sadly we don’t have a price yet.
